I began using the simple point and shoot method, though soon realised it failed to capture the "action. My photos usually resulted in nothing but a shot of the track itself. My thirst to capture the riders' very own thoughts lead me to buy my first true SLR - a second hand Minolta film camera. With my interests and skills growing strongly, in 2005 I invested in a Canon digital SLR. My upgrades in equipment have continued ever since.
